THE BLDR DIFFERENCE

We train to live fully. To play, explore, and feel strong in every season of life. This is what makes Boulder Athletics different.

BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP

Boulder Athletics started with a simple idea: training should make your life better, not just your body. Head Coach Park Roberts built BA around the belief that a fit life is a full life — that the work you put in at the gym should carry into everything else you do.

What started as one coach writing programming for a tight-knit group has grown into a community of people who show up for each other. The programming is still written in-house by Park, still follows the same intentional structure, and still puts results over trends.

Every workout at BA follows a periodized system — structured programming that builds on itself over time. No random workouts. No guessing. Just a proven process that drives measurable progress for everyone from first-timers to veteran athletes.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

"Whether you're chasing a trail or chasing your kids, our workouts are built to support the life you want to live. We don't train to look good in a mirror. We train to say yes to more."

Park Roberts — Owner & Head Coach

WHAT SETS BA APART

There are a lot of gyms in Boulder. Here's why this one is different.

01
Programming With Purpose

Every workout follows a periodized structure written by Park. Structured programming designed to build real, measurable progress over time. Not random. Not recycled. Intentional.

02
Coaches Who Actually Coach

Our coaches don't stand in the corner counting reps. They teach movement, correct form, explain the why behind every exercise, and scale to your level. Day one or year ten, you're getting coached.

03
One System, Multiple Paths

BLDRStrength is the foundation. BLDRHybrid builds on it with conditioning. BLDRHome takes it anywhere. Choose the path that fits your day. Switch anytime. You're always inside the same progression.

04
Community Over Competition

No egos. No judgment. Just people showing up to be better than they were yesterday. The accountability, the high-fives, the 6am crew that somehow makes early mornings worth it — that's the real product.

05
Train On Your Terms

Classes Monday through Saturday. 24/7 gym access for unlimited members. Online programming when you're traveling. Private training when you want one-on-one attention. No excuses. Just options.

06
Built for Longevity

We don't chase soreness or burnout. We build programs that keep you healthy, moving well, and getting stronger for years — not just weeks. Training you can sustain is training that actually works.

THE COACH BEHIND THE PROGRAMMING

Park Roberts - Owner and Head Coach at Boulder Athletics
PARK ROBERTS
Owner & Head Coach

Park Roberts built Boulder Athletics around a simple conviction: training should make you more capable, not just more tired. With 18+ years of consistent training and a background in military service, he designed a system built on periodized programming, progressive overload, and coaching that actually teaches. Every training cycle at Boulder Athletics is written by Park. Every session follows a structure. The gym exists because he believed Boulder deserved a strength and conditioning program that respected the process and the people inside it.

WHO TRAINS HERE

Our members are professionals, parents, military veterans, former college athletes, and people who picked up a barbell for the first time last month. Ages range from early 20s to mid-60s. Some came from other gyms looking for better programming. Some had never stepped foot in a gym before walking through our door. What they have in common is they take their training seriously, they want a system that works, and they want coaches who not only know their name but truly care about their journey in becoming the most fit version of themselves. If that sounds like you, you'll fit in here.
